𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗲: Based on the internationally renowned cyberpunk manga, GHOST IN THE SHELL is a staple of the anime genre. In the year 2029, a police officer and her partner are on the hunt for a cyber criminal who hacks into the minds of cyborgs and humans alike. Delving into intricate themes of human identity vs. technology; challenging conventional gender norms; and critiquing corrupt governments. This anime pushed boundaries with its stunning visual style with deep philosophical questions, influencing major studio films like The Matrix. In Japanese w/ subtitles.
